The Bookmark Backpack lets you collect items on teachinghistory.org and email them to yourself for future reference.

How? To save an item, click on the Bookmark This Page icon and your selected item will appear in the Bookmark Backpack column.

Change your mind? Just click on the orange X and the bookmark will disappear.

Adding ideas? To write notes or annotate an item, click on the pencil next to your bookmarked selection and a title field and annotation box appears.

Finished? When your visit to teachinghistory.org is finished, click on the envelope icon, enter an email address, and click the Email My Bookmarks icon. You've now forwarded all of your backpack selections and notes to your email account.

Bookmarks are saved only for the duration of a single visit. Don't forget to email!
