The Homestead, built in 1787, is the historic home of Vermont's founder Ethan Allen and his bride, Fanny. The Homestead provides visitors a slice of 18th-century life, and an intimate look at Vermont's most colorful—and controversial—founder.
The house offers a short film, tours, and educational programs.
