Wetpaint offers free wiki websites, advertisement-free for educational use, and an invitation-only option for viewers and contributors. As Wetpaint points out, wikis in education encourage collaborative learning and information sharing in the classroom, between teachers and parents, and among teachers. They can be on-going or project specific.
