Teaching 9/11
On Thursday, September 11, 2008, the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) will sponsor two webcasts on what students should know about 9/11.
Schools may sign up to view either or both webcasts live online and participate in the question-and-answer periods.
The first session between 11:00 and 11:45 am features an interview with Lawrence Husick, FPRI Senior Fellow specializing in the study of terrorist tactics and counterterrorism strategies, with a particular focus on the use of technology in terrorism.
The second session between 2:00 and 2:45 pm features an interview with Adam Garfinkle, editor of The American Interest magazine. He served as speechwriter to the Secretary of State from 2003 to 2005.
