Overview
Scribblar is an online, collaborative, and interactive whiteboard for teaching and planning. The tool enables users to develop and maintain a scholarly conversation at any time with integrated audio and text messaging features. It combines word processing capabilities with whiteboard functionality, making it suitable for brainstorming, planning, and virtual classroom activities.
Getting Started
Users begin by creating a room and configuring privacy settings. The interface provides drawing tools (pointer, geometric shapes, drawing, text, highlighting, and stamping), editing features (cut, copy, paste, undo, redo, and page management), collaboration features (microphone for audio conferencing and text messaging), and asset management (import images, maps, PDFs, PowerPoint files, and Flickr images). Users can customize line color, fill color, and line thickness from bottom controls.

Video tutorials are available on the Scribblar website demonstrating collaborative planning and teaching applications. The tool works particularly well for geographically separated groups and interdisciplinary school collaboration.
