The Chatillon-DeManil House was originally constructed in 1848, and expanded in 1861. Today, it houses the largest permanent collection of artifacts from the 1904 World's Fair. The original owner, Henri Chatillon, served the St. Louis American Fur Company as both a guide and trapper. The second owner, Dr. Nicolas N. DeMenil, practiced medicine. He is responsible for the structure's current Greek Revival appearance.
The mansion offers guided tours.
The Shoshone County Mining and Smelting Museum presents the local history of the Silver Valley, Idaho, with a particular emphasis on mining and smelting history. Exhibits cover mining, environmental history, smelting equipment, minerals, metallurgy, medicine, and electricity. Collection highlights include an 1899 Nordberg Air Compressor and scale models of the Bunker Hill and Sunshine Mines. Dating to 1906, the museum structure was built as the residence of Stanley A. Easton (died 1961), manager of the Bunker Hill and Sullivan Mining and Concentrating Company.

Lynn Heritage State Park celebrates the history of Lynn, Massachusetts. Following the arrival of John Adam Dagyr in 1750, the settlement began its ascension to the position of being the nation's main shoe supplier. Lynn is also known for Lydia Pinkham (1819-1883), creator of an early commercial tonic for relieving menstrual cramps, and Elihu Thomson (1853-1937), who founded General Electric with Thomas Edison in 1892.
The park offers exhibits, self-guided tours, and both interpretive and outreach programs.
The Pennsylvania Military Museum tells the story of Pennsylvanians who have served the United States through military enrollment, regardless of branch. The grounds served as the National Guard's first mounted machine gun troop's training grounds in 1916.

The Falmouth Historical Society operates a selection of museums, which preserve and share the history of Falmouth, Massachusetts. Two 18thcentury houses display fine art, furniture, and other decorative arts; while exhibits discuss preCivil War medical practice, the 1800's whaling industry, and the life of Katharine Lee Bates (18591929), author of "America, the Beautiful." The area surrounding the structures contains three gardens—one a Colonialstyle flower garden—and a green which has been used for Colonial militia practice.
