The Henry Morrison Flagler Museum preserves Whitehall, the estate of Henry Flagler, the noted railroad baron. The museum both chronicles the life and times of Flagler and the Florida East Coast Railway and serves as a local art museum.

Visitors to this engineering and architectural masterpiece can see where the soldiers lived, enter the casemates, explore the tunnel system, and climb the bastions for breathtaking views. From 1824 to 1950, Fort Adams housed generations of our soldiers, today it still stands ready for exploration.

The William S. Hart Park is located less than an hour from Los Angeles, CA, and is a historic house museum consisting of the former home and ranch of William Hart (1864-1946), a noted silent film director. The mansion contains original furnishings, an impressive collection of Western Art, and artifacts from early Hollywood and Native American tribes. Visitors to the mansion can also enjoy the rest of the ranch grounds, which have been fully restored to their state in the early 1900s.

"The goal of the Livermore Heritage Guild is expressed by its motto, 'Help save yesterday for tomorrow.' The Guild is an information source for those who are interested in the history of Livermore and houses its collection in the historic Carnegie Library Building in downtown Livermore." The guild also runs the Duarte Garage Museum, a 1915 automotive garage, and the 1911 Carnegie Museum, originally built as a public library and now serving as the guild's headquarters.

The Katahdin Iron Works is located in rural Maine and was the state's only iron works installation. The iron works operated between 1843 and 1890, and today stands as a monument to the industrial age in Maine. Visitors can view the carefully preserved iron furnaces and buildings, which were restored in 1966. In addition to the Iron Works, the state historic site also offers many options for outdoor activity, including hiking and camping.

The Chapman Historical Museum is "located near downtown Glens Falls, a small city at the southeastern edge of the Adirondack Mountains, an hour north of Albany, New York. Today the museum consists of the restored Victorian home of the DeLong family, a changing exhibition gallery, research archive and gift shop." The museum also provides a wealth of educational programs tailored for children of different ages and is working on a Glens Falls historical site.

The Barnacle, built in 1891, offers a glimpse of Old Florida during the Era of the Bay. Situated on the shore of Biscayne Bay, this was the home of Ralph Middleton Munroe, one of Coconut Grove's most charming and influential pioneers. Munroe's principal passion was designing yachts. In his lifetime, he drew plans for 56 different boats. As a seaman, civic activist, naturalist, and photographer, Commodore Munroe was a man who cherished the natural world around him.

The Southern Oregon Historical Society was formed 63 years ago with the mission "to make history come alive by collecting, preserving, and sharing the stories and artifacts of our common heritage." Currently, the society owns seven unique historical properties including two museums, a historic house from the 1890s, Oregon's first bank, a small Catholic rectory, one of Jacksonville's first hotels, and a farm. The museums and the society's research library hold the society's extensive collection of almost a million stories and artifacts.

The Wichita County Heritage Society preserves and presents the history of Wichita County. The Society operates the Kell House Museum, a restored 1909 neo-classical home, that, according to the Society's website, "features distinctive architecture, original family furnishings, textiles, decorative arts, and historic costumes."

Rokeby Museum is a 90-acre historic site and National Historic Landmark that was home to a remarkable Quaker family from 1793 to 1961. From early settlers to radical abolitionists to distinguished artists and writers, each generation of Robinsons left its mark on the site, the state, and the country. Rokeby was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1997 for its unsurpassed underground railroad history. The Museum's mission is to "connect visitors with the human experience of the underground railroad and with the Robinson family, who lived on and farmed this land for nearly 200 years." We ofter a primary source document-based underground railroad program both on site and in the classroom as well as two kits exploring abolitionist history. The site includes a fully furnished Federal style house, eight historic farm buildings, and acres of hiking trails
