The Museum of Colquitt County History presents the history of Colquitt County, Georgia. Exhibit topics and displays include Native American artifacts, face jugs, a small scale Chickee dwelling, a Confederate memorial and artifacts, vernacular and home artifacts, 20th-century life, tobacco, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, and education.

The museum offers exhibits and a high school self study course on the Confederacy. Tours are available outside of normal museum hours with advance notice.

The Wilton House is a circa 1753 Georgian style home, once the center of the Randolph family's tobacco plantation. Site guests included Washington, Jefferson, and the Marquis de Lafayette. Collections date from the 18th- and 19th-century, and assist in the interpretation of the mid-18th-century plantation owner lifestyle and the story of the Wilton House and its residents. The site is furnished to the specifications of an 1815 survey.

The museum offers exhibits, period rooms, curriculum-based tours for students, hands-on activities for students, an outreach program for students, an after school program, a day trip to local sites for students, group tours, Scout tours, and summer camps. The Kona Historical Society's Coffee Living History Farm is typical of a Japanese coffee pioneer's life in Hawaii during the period between 1920 and 1945. Crops such as coffee and macadamia nuts are still grown and farm animals such as donkeys and chickens are part of the farm experience. A coffee mill is still used to grind the coffee grown on the farm and the product is in the historic General Store.

A 75-min village walking tour is offered as well as hands-on activities such as clothes washing, bread-making, coffee grinding, etc. are offered to give students an idea of the labor involved in running a farm. Interpretive performances can be performed in schools and outreach trunk shows are offered for in-class presentations. Teacher resources are sold by the society for a minimal charge.

Empire Mine State Historic Park is the site of one of the oldest, largest, deepest, longest, and richest gold mines in California. In existence for more than 100 years, the mine produced 5.6 million ounces of gold before it closed in 1956. The park contains many of the mine's buildings, the owner's home. and restored gardens, as well as the entrance to 367 miles of abandoned and flooded mine shafts.

The park offers exhibits, tours, living history presentations and events, and occasional recreational and educational events.

The Atlanta History Center consists of the Atlanta History Museum, Swan House, Tullie Smith Farm, Centennial Olympic Games Museum, historic gardens, Kenan Research Center, and the Margaret Mitchell House. The Atlanta History Museum depicts the story of Atlanta, GA, from early settlement to modern day. Permanent exhibits address historical development, the Civil War, folk arts, and golfer Bobby Jones. The Olympic museum presents the history of the Olympic Games and the sports which take place at the games via a collection of artifacts and photographs. Topics addressed include financing the event, community involvement, global travel to the Olympics, the bid process, and building game venues. The six historic gardens represent groups of people who influenced the development of Atlanta. The Kenan Research Center provides resources for the study of the history and culture of Atlanta and the South. Particular emphasis is given to gardens, military history, decorative arts, and genealogy. The 1928 Swan House portrays life in the 1920s-1930s; while the 1840s Tullie Smith Farm home is representative of area rural life, and is surrounded by outbuildings, such as a blacksmith shop. The center offers guided student tours, self-guided student tours, traveling trunks, interactive outreach programs for students, homeschool days, educator workshops, lectures, toddler programs, summer camps, musical performances, gardens, and living history presentations. The Atlanta History Museum offers exhibits, summer camps, and a cafe. The Centennial Olympic Games Museum offers interactive and traditional exhibits, a sports lab, and multimedia presentations. The Kenan Research Center offers research library access. The Swan House offers an exhibit of decorative arts, audio tours, guided tours, and period rooms. The Woolwich Historical Society seeks to preserve and share the history of Woolwich, Maine. To this end, the society operates a local history museum. The museum is located within an 1810 barn, and contains artifacts from the late 18th through early 20th centuries. Collections include archaeological findings, Native American artifacts, maritime paintings and photographs, quilts, sewing artifacts, an early 19th-century loom, domestic devices, decorative arts, and farming tools. Exhibit topics include ice harvesting.

The society offers exhibits. Tours of the 1757 Meeting House can be arranged upon request. The museum is open in July and August. However, it can be made available throughout the year.

The Firehouse No. 3 Museum chronicles the history of firefighting in Racine, WI. The museum houses an impressive collection of firefighting equipment and memorabilia, including 1882 Stephen Freeman Steamer and a 1930s pumper. The museum also features helmets, hoses, nozzles, trophies and awards from Racine firefighting history.

The Oregon Coast History Center seeks to preserve and share the history of Lincoln County, Oregon and the Central Oregon Coast. To this end, the society operates the Burrows House and Log Cabin. The 1895 Queen Anne-style Burrows House. The house offers exhibits on local history, a law office setting, and a Victorian parlor. The Log Cabin presents Lincoln County history, including maritime history, local bridges, and Native American life. Plans exist to create a maritime history center. Collections include more than 40,000 artifacts dating as far back as 1850. Collection highlights include the charter boat, Kingfisher.

The center offers exhibits, period rooms, district walking tours, educational outreach programs, research library access, oral histories, and research assistance. The log cabin includes a children's hands-on learning area. Reservations are required for group tours.

The Camden County Historical Society seeks to preserve and share the history of Camden County, New Jersey. To this end, the society operates a 20,000 volume library, the circa 1788 Georgian-style Pomona Hall, and a museum. Pomona Hall offers a glimpse of daily life following the Revolutionary War. The museum presents 300 years of area history, including exhibits on weaving, farming, education, blacksmithing, and transportation.

The society offers research library access, a traveling trunk, and school outreach presentations.
