The Harriet Tubman Home preserves the legacy of "the Moses of Her People" in the place where she lived and died in freedom. The site is located on 26 acres of land in Auburn, New York, and is owned and operated by the AME Zion Church. It includes four buildings, two of which were used by Harriet Tubman. Some articles of furniture, and a portrait that belonged to Harriet Tubman are now on display in the Home.

The Center seeks to engage, educate, and challenge a diverse audience by collecting, preserving, and interpreting Richmond's history. Located in the heart of historic downtown Richmond, the Center presents a comprehensive program of exhibitions, tours, special events, research opportunities, school programs, and other public programs in order to engage the broadest audience in an ongoing dialogue about the significance and relevance of the city's history. The Center also maintains the 1812 Wickham House, where guests can explore aspects of life in the early 19th century. In the public first-floor rooms, ornate decorations helped the Wickhams and their slaves present a picture of leisure and refinement. Exhibited on the second floor are artifacts from the descendants of the family that first inhabited the house.

Drayton Hall, on which construction began in 1738, is the oldest surviving example Georgian Palladian architecture in the U.S. and one of the only pre-Revolutionary houses that remain in close-to-original condition today.

Built in the 1680s, on land originally settled by Native Americans, Bevier House today reflects the diverse history and culture of Ulster County. It displays exhibits on themes including women's history, slavery, immigration, Native Americans, and more.

The Society operates its center and library on the second floor of the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse in downtown Lawrenceville, along with the 19.2-acre Elisha Winn Property in the Hog Mountain-Dacula area. The Winn House is open the second Saturday in the month and includes the rehabilitated 1811 Elisha Winn House (birthplace of Gwinnett County); a 12-acre wooded area; and a variety of other buildings of historic interest, including the Walnut Grove one-room schoolhouse, the old Lawrenceville Jail, and a blacksmith shop.

The Society holds an extensive collection of resources on Tulsa's past, including nearly 5,000 still photographs, books, maps, documents, graphics, historical costumes, and architectural remnants, as well as fine and decorative arts. The Society is headquartered in the historic 1919 Samuel Travis Mansion off Peoria Avenue, where artifacts from the Society's collection are exhibited.

Historic Northampton is a museum of local history in the heart of the Connecticut River Valley of western Massachusetts. Its collection of approximately 50,000 objects is a repository of Northampton and Connecticut Valley history from the Pre-Contact era to the present. The museum maintains a permanent exhibit chronicling the rich history of Northampton in its main gallery and features changing exhibitions in its rotating exhibit space. Historic Northampton constitutes a campus of three contiguous historic houses, including the 1813 Damon House, the 1719 Parsons House, and the 1796 Shepherd House, all on their original sites. The grounds themselves are part of an original Northampton homelot, laid out in 1654.

The Carroll Mansion houses the Society. Formerly a private residence, the Carroll Mansion stands today as a "living museum" celebrating the lifestyle of a 1890s household.

The Society operates several historic sites, including the Old Lighthouse Museum and Captain Palmer House. The 1823 Old Lighthouse Museum's six rooms of exhibits testify to the history of this coastal region through exhibits depicting the lives of Stonington's fishermen and farmers, merchants and shipbuilders, pottery makers, blacksmiths, and many other trades. Each year a special aspect of Stonington history is featured. One room with a large dollhouse is reserved for items of interest to children and adults. The 1852 Captain Palmer House displays memorabilia pertaining to Nathaniel's discovery of Antarctica and the Palmer brothers' adventurous lives, as well as other Stonington family portraits, furnishings, and artifacts.

The Oysterponds Historical Society preserves and interprets the heritage of Orient and East Marion (formerly Oysterponds) by maintaining a museum that collects, preserves, and exhibits artifacts pertaining to Oysterponds history and life; by maintaining a research library of material relevant to Oysterponds history; by providing cultural opportunities through educational and public programs and activities; and by promoting an interest in the history of Oysterponds. The Society is housed in several historic structures, including the 1888 Old Point Schoolhouse, which displays exhibits, and the 1720 Webb House, which offers seasonal tours.
