The Museum Center at 5ive Points presents the sociocultural history of Southeast Tennessee's Ocoee District. The museum's permanent exhibit discusses local Cherokee and other Native American life, the Trail of Tears and settlement, antebellum life, industry and commerce, the World War I and II eras, and the 1996 Olympics. Seven fictional living history characters give the exhibits a personal tone.

The Micanopy Historical Society Museum presents the history of Micanopy, FL. The museum is housed within a circa 1850 warehouse which once held lumber and agricultural tools. Exhibits address a local trading post, zoology, transportation, the post, general stores, naval pine resin derivatives, Seminole textiles, Seminole war chiefs, the Civil War, World War homefront life, and laundry technology. Highlights include a circa 1930 Coca-Cola sign, an ice box, a 1906 wedding gown, and a Sibley tent stove.

The Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum claims to be the only museum focusing solely on the creation of wooden type and the printing process involving said type. Collections include more than 1.5 million individual pieces of wooden type. In the 19th century, pieces such as those in the collection were a necessity for mass communication. Aside from type, the museum displays printing tools, type specimen catalogs, hot metal type production, and hand operated printing presses.

The Cayuga Museum of History and Art presents the history and culture of the Auburn, New York area. The museum is located within the 1836 Willard-Case Mansion, with the permanent exhibit addressing the history of the Auburn Correctional Facility. The Case Research Lab preserves the site where the first commercially successful talking film technology was developed. The site includes the darkroom, chemistry lab, recording studio, exhibits on talking film ventures, recording equipment, and the first sound camera.

The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is dedicating to chronicling the history of Wisconsin's maritime and shipbuilding history. The museum is located in Manitowoc, WI, Wisconsin's most famous shipbuilding port. The museum is home to the U.S.S. COBIA, a WWII fleet submarine.

The Evergreen Aviation Museum exists to present the history of air and space technology and to honor United States veterans. More than 50 aircraft are on display.

The Historical Society of Topsail Island operates the Missiles and More Museum. The Missiles and More Museum contains exhibits addressing Operation Bumblebee, Osprey aircraft, Camp Davis, natural history, Native American life, and pirates. Operation Bumblee was a circa 1946-1948 confidential guided missile testing program under the U.S. Navy, while Camp Davis served as an important air training center for World War II.

The Lysander and Susan Flagg Museum is the first museum in Central Falls history. It celebrates local history with a large collection of maps, newspapers, photographs, paintings, and artifacts.
