I just posted on another blog

I just posted on another blog regarding video in the classroom, but this seems like it is also a relevant blog. I received an email from Scholastic.com about an upcoming webcast live from Ellis Island. It will be on March 29 and last about 1/2 hour. Since so many of our roots go through Ellis Island this might be an excellent resource.

I am interested in this

I am interested in this aspect of teaching as a volunteer. I would like some ideas on how to best approach the organizations in my community where I might offer my services and knowledge in this area to assist youth
